A flag meet is scheduled to be held between India and Pakistan Brigade commanders in order to address the issue of ceasefire violations at the line of control.

The repeated ceasefire violations have led to death of number of civilians and along with this, have caused a lot of damage to property.
Earlier a Pakistani militant group attacked on a BSF convoy in which one guard was killed and a Pakistani militant was killed in exchange of fire. The meeting was held under a “cordial atmosphere” with both sides also agreeing to carryout joint investigations of future ceasefire violations. It said that Pakistan has stressed upon India to stop forthwith these Cease-fire violations and respect the 2003 Cease-fire arrangement to restore peace and tranquility at the LoC and the Working Boundary.
