InFocus launches new smartphones, hybrid tablet and feature phones
US based InFocus, which entered the Indian market earlier this year, has expanded its lineup by four new smartphones and a new 2-in-1 tablet. The device has a 2,450mAh non-removable battery. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display.
Both the M808 and the M812 flaunt an anodized aluminum unibody design.
The main attraction at the launch event was the InFocus M550-3D smartphone, which brings glasses free 3D viewing to the masses.
InFocus also announced two unibody aluminium smartphones, M812 and M808. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes equipped with 16GB internal storage. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is thin at 7.56mm.
Last but not least, InFocus’ flagship smartphone is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with true-tone LED flash, 8-megapixel front-facing camera wide angle lens, and a 2,900mAh battery. Coming to the specifications of the tablet, it comes packed with 10.6-inch FHD display along with detachable magnetic keyboard, powered by a 1.11GHz Quad-Core Intel Atom processor and supports hyper-threading up to 1.83GHz, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 32GB of internal memory.
According to a new report, InFocus M812 has been officially introduced in India but will not go on sale until September. It features 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). “With the help of strategic partners such as Foxconn and Super, we seek to revolutionize the mobile communications, electronics and visual display market in India with our portfolio”, Sachin Thapar, country head of InFocus India said.
