With just four days until “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” flies into theaters, ticket sales have taken off at the speed of light.
However, with the day that all fans have been in anticipation of for years fast approaching, a small corner of Star Wars fandom is threatening to hold their fellow fans to ransom if Disney doesn’t reinstate their beloved Expanded Universe stories.
From toys of new characters that little is known about, to a revival in memorabilia of some of the series’ most iconic images, fans have been stuffing their socks with Star Wars merchandise.
Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, who return to the saga after starring in the original trilogy, are set to join British newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega for the highly anticipated event in Leicester Square.
December 3rd’s Star Wars Commander expansion introduced a brand-new planet and two mercenaries inspired by The Force Awakens.
Now some clever people have made a Google Chrome extension that means you can browse in peace without having to avert your eyes and scroll off at high speed whenever you see the word “star” on your screen.
