IOS 8.4.1 patches TaiG 8.4 jailbreak
We predicted back in July that the iOS 8.4.1 would most likely patch up TaiG’s iOS 8.4 jailbreak, so we can’t say we’re too surprised by today’s news, but it’s certainly another blow for the jailbreak community, who were hoping to be able to go through the entire summer into the fall with the ability to jailbreak the latest version of iOS.
You can download iOS 8.4.1 by heading to the Settings > General > Software Update menu on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. There is now a way to add songs to a new playlist if there aren’t any playlists to choose from. The company has released updates for both iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite. 1 version, understandably iOS 8.4.1 has one sole focus, and that is fixing bugs. Another major issue resolved has been affecting much of the team here: the inability to “love” a track while listening to Beats 1. According to Apple’s release notes the update only contains Apple Music bug fixes.
iTunes 12.2.2 was also released today with several Apple Music related improvements.
Click on the Beats 1 banner to see what’s now on, or view a complete broadcast schedule so you never miss a show. An issue that caused iTunes to lose its place when hitting a previous page has been fixed. The rest of the update is all about bug fixes, like artists not populating correctly in your “My Music” list.

The tweak is available for .99 in the Cydia app store, and it’s well-worth the price if one-handed use is something you feel Apple’s iPhones are lacking.
