Iowa Evangelicals Warm To Ted Cruz
“Candidates running for national office who are articulating strong, firm, decisive positions that are well-thought-out are going to have an advantage”, stated No. 3 Senate Republican John Thune of South Dakota, quoted by the same source.
In other words, Cruz would have voters believe that the entire issue is “nonsense” because Republicans aren’t actively trying to limit access to condoms, which necessarily means, in his mind, that there is no “war on women”.
He then added that “last I checked we don’t have a rubber shortage in America”. “You put 50 cents in and voilà”, the senator said to laughs.
Hewitt asked Trump to comment on the “big debate between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Thank you for welcoming me here”, said Cruz.
This was Cruz’s response after Arizona Sen.
Cruz did not mention any of his fellow Republicans by name. Because it can’t be done. The Clinton camp blasted Cruz for reinventing history in order to hide his real record. The Texas senator has relentlessly worked to defund Planned Parenthood no matter the cost-even if it means restricting access to care or shutting down the federal government to make it happen.
“There were fewer declared Republicans in the faculty when we were there than communists”.
But while the support of evangelicals may help a candidate win in Iowa, the state’s caucus goers have not picked the eventual Republican nominee since George W. Bush in 2000.
Cruz said, “One of my favorite scenes is when they bring in Wesley the Pirate Roberts to Miracle Max”. Convenient that Cruz has remained out of the spotlight and under the radar of media mafia.
“With CNN, here’s what they’ll say, ‘Trump’s chicken”.
“He’s just an honest, Christian man. That’s what I really appreciate about him”, said Mardell Cory, a massage therapist who waited in line to give Cruz a hug and get a picture signed. He’s accused the Obama administration of violating the Constitution repeatedly – over immigration, health care and more. It could also, contrary to Cruz’s claims, ban many common forms of contraception, such as the pill and IUDs.
It’s a central question of Cruz’s campaign as he gains momentum in the Republican primary: Can the uncompromising conservative unite a polarized nation and work with what he’s derisively called Washington’s “cartel” of career politicians, lobbyists and special interests?
“I kind of thought it was the job of a chaplain to be insensitive to atheists”.
Cruz touched on hot topics like Planned Parenthood, religious freedom, and the economy.
“I will renounce any Canadian citizenship”.
