Starting 10-0 for the first time is all the Hawkeyes (9-0, 5-0 Big Ten, No. 5 CFP) care about these days. But the players have, and apparently they’re a hit. Ohio State, MI State and MI can all still win the Big Ten East. Iowa isn’t going to blow it now.

As the Hawkeyes work toward Saturday’s 7 p.m. game at Kinnick Stadium against Minnesota, Beathard has engineered two game-winning drives in the final quarter against both Iowa State and Pittsburgh. “If that’s me having to try and push the limit with me running the ball then I’m going to do that”. Scouting the run defense: Iowa’s rushing attack isn’t quite as potent as Ohio State’s, averaging 35 yards fewer per game, but is still second-best in the conference. There’s more inside zone!
