IPhone 7 May Have a Flush Rear Camera, No Antenna Bands
Apple is due to release the new version of its flagship phone later this year, with version 7 expected to follow the 6S. There were gaudy antenna lines, the camera lens extruded in an ungainly fashion and then there was “bendgate”.
Your next iPhone may be everything you wished the iPhone 6 and 6s (and Plus!) were. However, 2016 could be the year that could change as a new report by MacRumours suggests that Apple will opt for a cleaner design on the iPhone 7.
Visible white antenna lines have been part of all the iPhone iterations released thus far. Its inclusion as one of Apple’s dual lens partners has set tongues wagging about the possibility of the iPhone 7 Plus having a much improved camera.
Although Apple has not yet confirmed anything about the new device, it seems like avid users are itching and speculating as to what the new iPhone 7 may provide. We had earlier told you that the iPhone 7 will get wireless charging and waterproofing, and it might also skip the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The launch of the iPhone 7 is still multiple months away, but details about the new device have been steadily trickling out. The phone could also come with a 256GB memory variant.
Another, altogether more cosmetic element is also thought to be on the way out as the new model hits the shelves. These earpods are said to come with some advanced noise cancellation technology.
“The market watchers expect iPhone’s adoption of a dual-lens camera to boost demand for the component”, states the DigiTimes report.
Recent rumors say Apple is planning to equip the “iPhone 7” with a dual-lense rear camera but this latest design concept shows us the company may stick with a traditional camera.
Moreover, the main camera unit on the rear will be slimmer than what we have seen in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
For example, from 2007 to 2010, the original iPhone, plus the 3G and 3GS, can be grouped together as similarly designed.
