Iran leader predicts Israel gone within 25 years
Four undecided Senators – Richard Blumen-thal, Gary Peters, Ron Wyden and Maria Cantwell – lend their support to the Iranian nuclear deal Tuesday.
The Friends of Catholic Peace Ministry hosted a call-a-thon Wednesday, luring people in with free pizza. “We have not allowed talks with the U.S.in other fields and we not negotiate with them”, Khamenei said.
After careful consideration, I will vote to support the JCPOA because I believe it is the best way forward to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and advance the national security interests of the United States and our allies.
Duckworth, along with fellow Democratic House members Bill Foster of Naperville and Mike Quigley of Chicago, wrote an op-ed posted on chicagotribune.com explaining their support for the deal.
“No one believes this proposal is flawless, but going it alone has not stopped Iran on their path toward a nuclear weapon”.
Allies in the region – who would be on the front lines of a nuclear-armed Iran – have deep concerns. Iran, together with Palestinian and Lebanese militant groups, has constantly pledged in the destruction of Israel, reported The Guardian.
Shortly after the nuclear deal was announced in July, Khamenei vowed that his country would “trample upon America” and that its “policy toward the arrogant US government won’t change at all“.
In exchange, Iran will receive relief from the sanctions put in place by the United States and the UN Security Council.
Ayotte, who has always been skeptical of the deal, said President Barack Obama’s administration gave too many concessions during the negotiations.
Until such point as Iran ceases its pursuit of nuclear weapons, dismantling its military nuclear program, funding and engaging in terrorism around the world, and committing to release American hostages, the State of New York should not do business with Iran or its business partners.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had to go and open his big mouth Wednesday and threaten Israel’s existence, saying the country won’t be around in 25 years.
Clinton further said, “I don’t see Iran as our partner in implementing the agreement“.
The activity comes a day after Democrats clinched the crucial votes needed to block passage of a disapproval resolution against the Iran nuclear accord.
Both of the Republicans strongly oppose the Iran deal and Dunn came out swinging on Thursday, urging Graham to vote against it.
“He was strategically waiting for this deal to pass Congress and once that’s ensured, it was time to make these comments,”Mortazavi said. Just as concerning, is the secret side-agreement that was discovered between the IAEA and Iran, which Congress will not get to read before voting early next month”.
