Is Gorilla Grodd Bringing the Apocalypse to ‘The Flash’?
We can only live in how that Cisco does finally get his woman at some point down the line. This was supposed to end Savitar and give Team Flash an “opportunity to fight the future”. While this wouldn’t be the first time on The Flash Season 3 that Gypsy attacks the Flash and his pals, after Harrison Wells subdues her she reveals she was hypnotized into action by Grodd. However, in taking down Solovar, the gorilla’s leader, his old enemy Grodd was put into power with a singular goal of returning to Earth-1 Central City and wreaking havoc. Barry manages to escape but as fate dictated, the whole army of Gorillas chase him to Earth-1. When Grodd had control of her mind, she saw what he’s planning (the city in ruins, people in pain, lots of death), but it’s not her fight.
A recent promo clip from the upcoming episode revealed that Gorilla Grodd is about to travel back to Earth-1 along with his army of Gorillas to invade Central City to seek revenge and even the score. Thankfully, The Flash moves him out of the way in time before the bullet pushes through his temple.
“Since Grodd has the ability to overtake anyone, he’s going to overtake someone very close to Barry, and nearly kill him”.
Solovar never wanted to attack Central City. But he will not disclose this to Barry and the rest of Team Flash. As soon as he enters the correct combination, Grodd and his army begin their attack.
ET caught up with series star Grant Gustin earlier this month on the show’s Vancouver set, where the TV superhero shared his initial reaction to Barry’s proposal to Iris after the chaos of Grodd’s attack.
Vibe travels to a snowy, handsome Earth-19 to beg Gypsy for help.
Harry was taken by Grodd while leading an expedition to Gorilla City. Barry begs Solovar to spare Grodd’s life and Solovar, bafflingly, concedes. It seems Barry and Iris will be brought to a hard place.
Gypsy has feelings for Cisco, so I don’t think she’d want anything to happen to him. That’s something we truly can not wait to see. His costume is absolutely wonderful.
It’s Valentine’s Day, but H.R. (TOM CAVANAGH) is calling it “Friends Day” as it is referred to on his home on Earth 19. Maybe that’s who he was speaking of. “Savitar is, I would say, the most formidable adversary that Barry has had”. It served to us as an audience the key importance of their relationship, lending to the episode’s lovely conclusion and also reminding us that Savitar’s return could well create a groundbreaking scenario should he actually kill Iris as witnessed from the future.
