Is Henry Cavill joining cast of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ sequel?
Henry Cavill might be trading in his Superman suit for a blindfold and handcuffs.
New Fifty Shades Darker casting rumors have the fandom all aflutter: according to a Movie News Guide roundup post, both Charlize Theron and Henry Cavill have quietly been cast in the sequel to the commercially successful Fifty Shades of Grey. “At this time, I’m not allowed to say anything”.
“Just do it”, Hammer jokingly said.
Fans have been eager to learn who will play the role of Hyde on the big screen. And it appears there is a chance we may have a new actor in the mix, as Henry Cavill (known to you as Superman, or the former boyfriend of Kaley Cuoco) has been floated for the role of Jack Hyde, the boss at the publishing company where Anastasia Steele (Johnson) works.
The character is “described as a man with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your heart”, so Cavill was born to play this role!
The name that goes afloat to portray the controversial Mrs. Robinson, the woman responsible for introducing BDSM (Bondage-Discipline/Domination-Submission/Sadism-Masochism) to Christian Grey is – wait for it – “Mad Max: Fury Road” actress Charlize Theron.
The new film sees the return of Dornan’s Christian Grey, plus Rita Ora as his sexy half-sister, Mia.
It’s been a few months since the Fifty Shades of Grey tornado swept through the country, wholly sweeping up all blogs, TV commercial breaks, pop-radio air space, and brunch conversation.
The sequel, which does not have a director yet, is expected to start production at the beginning of next year.
“Fifty Shades Darker” is scheduled to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day in 2017.
