They were introduced in Australia by a Murdoch sister and his niece. They are enjoying each other’s company very much. The two hit it off and have been seeing one another for the last several weeks.

Rupert Murdoch, 84, and the former American Model turned actress Jerry Hall, 59, are reportedly seeing each other.

Forget Prince Harry’s beard or David Pocock, all eyes will be on media magnate Rupert Murdoch and his (alleged) new lover Jerry Hall at next weekend’s rugby World Cup.

This is believed to be the first serious relationship for the 84-year-old billionaire businessman since he split from his third wife Wendi Deng in 2013. “There is no question that they are a couple”, the source said.

Mr Murdoch has been married three times, the first to Patricia Booker in 1956.

After associations with Jagger and Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry, she dated Perth millionaire Warwick Hemsley.

Before that, she was in a relationship with Jagger for more than 20 years and the pair had four children together.

Jerry Hall is rumoured to be Rupert Murdoch’s new lover.

For her part, Miss Hall, who is resident in London, once famously remarked: “My mother said it was simple to keep a man: you must be a maid in the living room; a cook in the kitchen; and a whore in the bedroom”.

Another friend of the pair told The Mail on Sunday: “They could be the ideal couple, both with strong connections to Britain but foreign roots”.
