Is Microsoft working on a Surface-inspired phone?
On October. 6, Tuesday, software giant Microsoft has held an event to launch new devices that will run the Windows 10 operating system.
According to Guardian, the Microsoft Surface Book looks nearly exactly like a MacBook at first glance, but the difference of the two lies in the intuitive and innovative design of Microsoft’s first laptop. Microsoft exhibited those phones running with Windows 10 Mobile (which Microsoft sometimes simply calls Windows 10), and they’re expected to ship with what is presumed to be the final version of the OS.
In a move that surprised many, Microsoft went ahead and announced its first actual laptop, the Surface Book. Early accounts say this thing could give the MacBook a run for its money. Here’s what we know about Surface Book.
The Surface Pro 4 has been given a makeover, inside and out. And the removable screen is also able to interact with the Surface Pen, and users are able to use touch for interaction with the screen as well.
Over the past few years, Microsoft has said that its Surface tablets would replace traditional laptops, but now the company has a backup product – just in case.
Unlocked Mobiles will be stocking both the smaller 5.2 inch 950 and the larger 950 XL in both black and white for launch in December.
“With Windows 10 and these new Microsoft devices, you are at the centre of magical new experiences”, said Satya Nadella, chief executive of Microsoft.
Microsoft has opted for the particular carrier deal route recently, yet none of its rivals are as yet doing this for their top of the line devices.
These set of Lumia flagships with superior specs comes with Windows Continuum – converts the smartphone to a multimedia hub or PC by connecting it to a Microsoft Display Dock, monitor or keybaord and mouse.
“We’re moving people from needing to choosing to loving Windows, and these devices promise to fuel even more enthusiasm and opportunity for the entire Windows ecosystem”.
