Is The iPhone 8 Release Date Just Weeks Away?
Previous reports indicate that the company isn’t releasing an iPhone SE 2017 model, but a new one suggests that a new variant of the miniature Apple smartphone may indeed see the light of day this year. While the devices will allegedly retain their Lightning port, they will get USB-C Power Delivery for faster charging, says Kuo.
And if the rumours are true, consumers may have to replace their current cables or peripherals to plug in to the new smaller USB-C standard sockets.
The iPhone 8 release date could be revealed sooner than expected following a recent announcement from Apple. Although the company is avoiding the port, but an USB-C connectivity is the best move for the users to easily connect their MacBook with their iPhone 8. It also allows your devices to charge. Apple will use a “2-cell L-shaped” battery pack to enable more efficient charging than the flat cells commonly found in phones. That means we won’t get the benefits of USB-C, which offers faster data transfer speeds than Lightning in some cases.
In Apple’s latest laptops, the MacBook and MacBook Pro, they’ve all been replaced by USB-C ports – a move that past year prompted an outcry from Mac users annoyed that they would need new cables and dongles to connect older hardware. Ming-Chi Kuo also adds that the iPhone 8, which would be a representative of augmented reality, will benefit from a wireless charging. One will be a more traditional iPhone 7s and 7s Plus that looks mostly like the existing phone but updates the insides, and the other will be a radical redesign that includes new features like an OLED screen, according to reports. It would make sense for Apple to discontinue the model, but if it just so happens to be true that they are planning on bringing an upgrade for the SE, then we are expecting some big changes for the little guy. Of course there are and too many as a matter of fact. Hence, the iPhone 8/iPhone X could ultimately end up disappointing numerous users who expect the smartphone device to be flawless in every sense.
