Is this Drake’s Views From The 6 album cover?
Recording artist Drake speaks about Apple Music during the Apple WWDC on June 8, 2015 in San Francisco, California.
Given Drake’s position as Canada’s head coach for Friday’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game against the U.S., who will be coached by Kevin Hart.it’s not surprising that the rapper would choose to debut his advertisements during the height of the attention surrounding NBA All-Star Weekend, People reports.
Hip-hop star Drake has started plastering downtown Toronto with teasers for his upcoming album, Views From the 6.
The first ad was tweeted out by Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport Tuesday afternoon, with two separate pictures & ads, one of which says “Four plus Two Equals 6”. See more Views From The 6 ad placements on the flip.
For what its worth, Drake took to his Instagram and posted a flick of a billboard in the heart of the city that simply read “Views”.
While it may be a bit too much to hypothesise that Drake will forego his scheduled April release date and go for a surprise-release this weekend – particularly as tomorrow is set to be Global Kanye Day – that hasn’t stopped fans from whipping up the hype and expectation for “Views From The 6” on social media. That song felt more like a freestyle than an album-worthy single, with a virtually unchanging trap beat and none of the rapper’s signature speech-song – the element of Drake’s style that has sold the most records.
Fans of the Hotline Bling writer are eagerly anticipating his latest record, which was announced last month with an April 16 release date.
Last week he released the first single off the project title “Summer Sixteen”.
