Israel approves jailing Jewish extremists without trial

Palestinian ambassador to Jordan, Atallah Khairi, told Jordanian newspaper al-Ghad that the decision was taken following an arson attack by suspected Jewish settlers which killed Palestinian infant Ali Dawabsha and critically injured his father, mother and four-year-old brother.

Rivlin had written a Facebook post following Friday’s arson attack on a Palestinian family’s home in the West Bank village of Duma by suspected Jewish extremists.

Israeli police say Ettinger will be remanded into their custody Tuesday following his arrest Monday.

“There isn’t any terror group, however there are numerous, many Jews, many greater than individuals assume, whose worth system is totally totally different than that of the Israeli Supreme Courtroom or the Shin Guess”, he wrote in a July 30 weblog submit.

Critics say Israel doesn’t enforce the law when it comes to settlers because of the political power they wield in Parliament and because they are still perceived in some circles as Zionist pioneers who are settling the land like the vanguard settlers who established the Jewish state.
