Groups affected by the bill said they were being unfairly singled out and noted that hard-line groups, including Im Tirtzu and organizations that support Jewish settlers in the West Bank, are exempt. Israel says 88 of them were attacking or attempting to attack Israelis while the rest died in clashes with Israeli troops.
“Cases of excessive use of force by Israeli forces against Palestinians, including some which appear to amount to summary executions, continue to be reported”, two United Nations officials said last month.

Amnesty International, argued that, the Israeli authorities’ claim that such demolitions are effective in dissuading potential attackers “is entirely irrelevant in the eyes of International humanitarian law, which places clear limits on the actions which an occupying power may take in the name of security, and the absolute prohibition on collective punishment is one of the most important of these rules”.
US-backed peace talks between the Palestinians and Israel collapsed in April 2014 amid bitter mutual recriminations.
But many Israeli leaders have portrayed them as traitors, in part because their reports and lectures are often aimed at foreign audiences.
The body says the circumstances surrounding a number of Palestinian deaths remain disputed.

Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Shaked said the Israeli public had a “right to know when foreign governments are involved in the domestic matters of another country”. The bill, which has been criticized by several human rights groups, is expected to be passed by parliament later this week.
“[An] Israeli settlement in E1 will cut the West Bank in half and prevent territorial contiguity of a future Palestinian state”, the report adds.
