Israel says Palestinian woman shot dead in attempted attack
In accordance with the OCHA, in October eight Israelis lost their lives and 115 were wounded during the Palestinians’ attacks, many of them consistent in the use of knives against civilians.
Israeli Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said two of the Israelis were moderately wounded in the attack, the latest in almost two months of violence across the region.

In the H2 area of the old city, where around 500 illegal settlers reside in four settlements protected by thousands of Israeli soldiers, attacks against Palestinians have become commonplace. Media reports said a 16-year-old was seriously wounded and an 18-year-old was lightly hurt.
Israel said its forces fired at Tharwat al-Sharawi’s auto in Hebron on Friday after she tried to run over soldiers in the city.
The main reason the Palestinians don’t extradite suspects to Israel – even those believed to have murdered or attempted to murder Israelis – is concern that Mahmoud Abbas’s security forces will be seen as traitors who collaborate with Israel. The meeting with Obama is also expected to center on the Iran nuclear deal and the ongoing fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

The presidency’s statement warned against the continuing Israeli policy of arresting and shooting Palestinians “without a reason” in light of a wave of violence that flared up in the beginning of October in response to tension in al-Aqsa mosque compound where Palestinians accuse Israel of imposing more restrictions on Palestinian worshipers access to the holy site.
