A 27-year-old Palestinian man, Abdullah al-Shalaldeh, was shot dead Thursday by Israeli undercover forces from an elite unit known as Mustaarabin when they raided a hospital in the West Bank looking for a suspected Palestinian attacker, according to a statement by the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Israeli forces have sparked outrage after disguising themselves as locals and killing a Palestinian man during a raid at a West Bank hospital.
The director of Hebron’s al-Ahly hospital, Jehad Shawar, told Palestine radio that 20-30 men arrived at the clinic in two minivans at around three o’clock in the morning.
The men are joined by what appear to be two women, one wearing a niqab, a garment covering the face and body, and the other appears to be pregnant, and has her hand on her lower back as she walks with the group of men.
Twelve Israelis have been stabbed to death, shot dead or run over and killed in attacks by Palestinians. The TV report said the critically injured son managed to telephone emergency services and was then hit by more gunfire.
A security operation is under way around the Palestinian village of Yatta, near Otniel, as Israeli forces search for the attacker.
The city is a frontline of the conflict, with 500 Jewish settlers living under military protection in the centre of a city of 200,000 Palestinians.
The regulations adopted Wednesday require separate labeling for Israeli products sold in the European Union when they are either packaged or produced in the West Bank, eastern Jerusalem or the Golan Heights.

On Friday, 22-year-old Mahmoud Shalaldeh died of wounds he sustained while clashing with Israeli forces during his cousin Abdallah’s funeral the day before.
London Mayor Boris Johnson dismissed the call to boycott, arguing Israel is the only functioning democracy in the Middle East.
According to the Shin Bet, Shalaldeh is “from a family of Hamas militants”.
Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awad accused Israeli security forces of “executing” Abdallah al-Shalalda, who he said was escorting a relative inside the facility. That said, there’s been no official shoot-to-kill order. And a year and half after peace efforts broke down, Israel and the Palestinians have been in the midst of the latest wave of violence.
