Israeli forces detain 8 years old child in occupied East Jerusalem
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), between December 30, 2014 and January 12, 2015, the Israeli authorities demolished 27 Palestinian structures in Area C of the West Bank and five in East Jerusalem, in addition to two self demolition incidents, due to lack of Israeli-issued building permits.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when the Palestinian man allegedly attempted to drive his vehicle into some Israeli soldiers in the occupied territory.
She added that the forces were conducting arrests and confiscating weapons in the Qalandiya refugee camp, near Ramallah.
In recent months, Israeli forces have destroyed the family homes of several Palestinians for allegedly attacking Israelis.
The poll by the Palestinian Centre for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) also found that almost three-quarters of respondents are opposed to the involvement of “young schoolgirls” in any stabbings.
Residents of the camp told local media outlets that hundreds of Israeli soldiers stormed the camp from all sides at around 1am local time (2300 GMT) and left later at 4.30am (0230 GMT), after ransacking homes and stores and clashing with the Palestinian youth.
The group says Israeli troops fired at some Palestinian assailants even after they were wounded and no longer posed a threat.

UN “Human Rights” Council spokeswoman Cécile Pouilly expressed grave concern “at the unrelenting violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and in Israel”. Four Palestinian protesters reportedly were injured by IDF gunfire, the Palestinian Maan news agency reported.
Pouilly warned that although worldwide attention appeared to be waning, “the level of killings, injuries and arrests has continued, with an average of one person dying every day”.
