Israeli military says it shot dead Palestinian attacker
“Since the Israeli government did nothing, as usual – nothing at all – I contacted the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson – a great friend of Israel – and I explained to him that Israel will not tolerate this [propaganda] and that we’re asking him to intervene”, he told a party meeting.

Activist group London Palestinian Action produced an image that quoted former BBC Middle East Correspondent Tim Llewellyn saying: “We have become used to the fact that, in a BBC newsroom, an Israeli life is worth the lives of an infinite number of Palestinians”.
Washington, which has traditionally acted as a peace broker in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, has not taken a public position on the French plan.
Speaking shortly after, Netanyahu said he had requested that Dore Gold, the Foreign Ministry’s director-general, who was holding meetings in London, ask the British government to crack down on the ads.
The adverts are not thought to have been sanctioned in any way by London Underground or Transport for London. “Our staff and contractors are working to immediately remove any found on our network”.
