It’s October 3rd: Lindsay Lohan and costars celebrate ‘Mean Girls’ Day

Three cheers for Lindsay Lohan! With this day being popularly known as a celebration of the movie, actress Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram to help reminisce this special occasion.

“It’s October 3rd FYI #meangirlsday”, the 29-year-old actress captioned a nostalgic still from the beloved 2004 movie.

In one of the comedy’s most adorable sequences, Lilo’s character, Cady, takes notice when her crush, school heartthrob Aaron Samuels, finally starts talking to her. The conversation may be brief, but Cady is elated nonetheless.

Meanwhile, Bennett suggested on Twitter that his “phone was blowing up” because of Mean Girls Day. On the day everyone remembers ‘Mean Girls, ‘ the girl who stole our hearts as Cady Heron admitted that she’s ready for a sequel!

She replies, “It’s October 3rd”.

The actor posted a “then and now-ish” side-by-side on Instagram, and a fun graphic of the whole gang.

In 2011, a sequel called Mean Girls 2 was released straight-to-TV.

Woman’s Day reported that Lohan spent the rest of the day updating her Instagram account with various “Mean Girls” quotes and photos which quickly became famous for their mean but witty lines. “I’m trying to make it happen!”
