In fact, during Trump’s entire RNC speech, he only mentioned women in the context of “men, women, and children” in the USA, and he only mentioned “family” when he was telling a story meant to portray the horror of undocumented immigrants. Yet Donald Trump doesn’t use those words to describe himself.

The change? Trump refrained nearly entirely from ad-libbing.

Equal pay is not a policy that has carried over to Trump’s campaign, however.

However, the speech suffered from an nearly unending march of woes, with little hope offered except in the form of the candidate himself. It’s about changing the system to improve the lives of Americans. Trump offered much the same, only with a different litany of woes, and nearly no suggestion of any reason for optimism at all except for the rise of Trump. “He’s bold, he’s unabashed, he’s very himself”.
