Ivanka Trump praises outspoken father’s record with women

Tiffany Trump stepped onto the stage at the Republican National Convention to paint a softer picture of her father, Donald Trump.

In a fiery speech at the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump Jr. cast his father as a “regular guy” who has no time for elitism, despite his wealth, and made a point of teaching his children the value of hard work.

By all accounts, Tiffany is quite close to her half-siblings.

“He always made us his top priority”, Trump said.

“I wrote my speech from the heart and I spent a lot of time on it”, Trump told Blitzer, pledging to be both genuine and passionate during his remarks Wednesday night.

Donald Jr. also stepped onstage, casting his father as a man of means who relates to the everyday worker.

It will be a massively public unveiling for Tiffany Trump, who has done only a couple of joint interviews with other family members until now.

“People talk about gender equality, but do they actually live it?” she said. “And that’s how he approaches any task that he undertakes”.

Still, she recognizes just how polarizing her father can be.

Here come the Trumps. The #NeverTrump movement gained steam and the Republican establishment seemed poised to mount one last charge to sink the celebrity businessman’s campaign.

When Borger asked Ivanka Trump if her father would read her bedtime stories like a typical dad, Ivanka Trump explained that he was ‘different’.

“My father raised me to have strong opinions, and he respects and appreciates them,”she continued”.

“Ivanka is a terrific person, a wonderful mother and someone everyone has great respect for”. He said he didn’t initially think he had copied word-for-word from his original piece, and “even if I had I didn’t think it would be problem”. “She has great instincts in business and in life”.

Trump married Maples in a lavish NY ceremony in December 1993, two months after daughter Tiffany was born.

That same family-driven model has extended to politics.

He has been kept out of the majority of the Trump campaign so far.

Although Donald Trump Sr.’s immigration plan is more nuanced than just building a wall, the issue is one of his most controversial. His bio on the company website states that he is responsible for directing “new project acquisition and development for The Trump Organization throughout the world”.
