J.J. Barea will stay in Dallas, agrees to deal with Mavericks
The deal is reportedly for two years and $5.6 million. Barea have agreed to a deal keeping him in Dallas, according to Puerto Rico’s El Nuevo Dia.
Since the start of free agency on July 1st, it was rumored that the two parties had a mutual interest to come to an arrangement. He returned to Dallas last season after the Minnesota Timberwolves bought out the remainder of the four-year deal he signed in 2011.
