J.K. Rowling Reveals She’s Finally Done with ‘Harry Potter’

Fans in love with the book series Harry Potter had a new reason to celebrate Saturday night-and celebrate they did.

After all, there’s been a nine-year gap between the seventh Harry Potter book and the “Cursed Child” play.

Horizon’s Bookstore in Traverse City never closed. It’s neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world.

“It’s great to get a new generation of kids and the parents who remember when they were kids now it’s been that long since we started all this process and get them all involved and you know just insane about reading”, Hermann said. “It was really exciting, there was a real electricity in the air”.

Stories from the world of Pure-bloods, Mudbloods, Muggles, Quidditch and Wingardium Leviosa have finally come to an end with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. J.K. Rowling also added that ending the “Harry Potter” series would give fans something special as Harry and his friends will always be in their hearts.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a two-part play that officially opened on July 31st in London after more than a month of preview performances.

Fans in Manhattan waited hours for the midnight book-release.

The book is a sequel to the original stories, and picks up where Deathly Hallows ended, some 19 years ago.

And it won’t stop there if creator J.K. Rowling has anything to do with it. At least, we now have the wizarding world of Newt Scamander to explore when Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens on November 18, kicking off a brand-new trilogy of films.
