Jabari Parker: Won’t play in preseason opener
Bucks: Rashad Vaughn had a team-high 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting.
Chicago Bulls’ E’Twaun Moore (55), passes around Milwaukee Bucks’ Michael Carter-Williams during the first half of an NBA preseason basketball game Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Chicago.
The Bulls will be without several key players tonight, including Pau Gasol, Derrick Rose, Mike Dunleavy, Taj Gibson and Kirk Hinrich.
Parker has clearly grown to love Milwaukee during his short time in the city, and as much as Bucks fans love him already, that’s a feeling that’s likely only going to grow stronger in the coming months.
With the Milwaukee Bucks set to tip off their pre-season schedule on the road against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, there was always going to be a lot of attention focused around Jabari Parker.
Parker practiced all four days in Madison last week, then took part in the Bucks open scrimmage at the Bradley Center on Saturday, scoring 15 points.
Jabari Parker’s rehab on his way back from a torn ACL has gone better than anybody could have expected so far.
“It feels great”, Parker added. “But this time I did all the training camp so I was really excited”. “We understand that and I think Giannis understands that, too”.
Parker said he expects to go through a normal practice schedule this week.
It’s not certain when Parker will play in a preseason game.
“It is something I worked on”, Parker said. “Just because I want to show my loyalty; all my loyalty is in Milwaukee”.
