Jack Antonoff Recruits Female Singers To Cover His Bleachers Album
“I wish I had one”.
A few of the songs are completely new covers, while others are re-works and remixes of the original tracks that Antonoff worked on in collaboration with the artists.
The LP was digitally released via Google Play – the same site hosting Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff’s docu-series Thank You and Sorry – as a free download. Back in 2010, he released an all-female cover album of tracks by one of his other bands, Steel Train. Antonoff has co-written songs with Bareilles and Taylor Swift, among others, in recent years, and although Fun. fans are clamoring for a follow-up to 2012’s a few Nights, the singer-songwriter’s focus remains squarely on his Bleachers project. These artists are Charli XCX, Sia, Carly Rae Jepsen and Tinashe.

Bleachers’ joint tour with Charli XCX was cut short in August due to the latter’s inability to “create” while on tour.
