‘Jackass’ star arrested for climbing crane in Hollywood

“Steve-O, one of the stars of the “Jackass” films and TV shows, was arrested on Sunday night after climbing a construction crane in Hollywood and inflating a balloon orca with “#SeaWorldSucks” written across it. Firefighters prepared a cushion in case of a fall.

Carrying an inflatable killer whale called Shammy – likely a reference to the park’s famous attraction Shamu – Steve-O climbed 100 feet above the ground for his latest stunt.

Because the first responders were unsure whether Glover needed to be rescued, five ambulances, a helicopter and more than 80 firefighters were sent to the scene, Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.

Last year, he was slapped with a $239 fine after changing a 5 Freeway sign in San Diego to read “SeaWorld Sucks”.
