Jackman hints at older Logan storyline for ‘Wolverine 3’
At the Fox movies panel at Comic-Con worldwide: San Diego 2015, the final section of the panel was devoted to X-Men films. Marvel Hugh Jackman hints at “Old Man Logan” appearence in ‘Wolverine 3.’.
Wolverine retires from “X-men” – or at least, Hugh Jackman is. Hugh Jackman was the first on the dais and clued the public on what would happen to Wolverine in the next installment.
“I won’t say who, but someone I know called me a sissy and I didn’t do it”. “And I gotta tell you, playing the legend that is Wolverine is the greatest part I had ever had in my life”, Jackman said amid cheers from the crowd.
If they do adapt Old Man Logan, this could be interesting because all of the other X-Men characters will either be old or dead if it’s set 50 years in the future.
The site added that Logan has already started a family and became a farmer in the story. When a gang of inbred Hulks (yeah, it’s weird) come to shake him down for protection money, Wolverine has no choice but to go on a unsafe road trip with a similarly elderly version of Hawkeye from The Avengers. He then chose to talk about the third movie in the wolverine series, which may end up being the last movie in which he would play Wolverine. He has played Wolverine a grand total of eight times and this will be his ninth and final time dawning the claws, bub.
The actor also shared one of the reasons why he agreed to join the project. At that time, the actor was much younger than he is now.
The X-Men: Apocalypse trailer has been leaked and now showing, revealing a few nail biting bits. This means that the movie will be his best one yet as a superhero.
