Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Green Bay Packers
A solid punt on Jacksonville’s part put the Packers inside the 5-yard-line for their second drive of the game.
While it’s probably unreasonable to expect the Jaguars to beat the Packers, this is the type of game the Jaguars have to show up to and be competitive in order to be considered real playoff contenders.

The Jaguars stymied Rodgers for much of the first half, forcing Green Bay into three consecutive three-and-outs at one point before the former NFL MVP finally found his rhythm.
While the Jaguars are a competitive team with the potential to make a run for the playoffs this season, the Packers will be the more talented team on the field Sunday afternoon. Not Rodgers, who got it to Adams more than 30 yards downfield in a place where his receiver could catch it. Rodgers threw a game-tying Hail Mary pass with 13 seconds left, connecting with little known wideout Jeff Janis in the end zone. A couple of snaps later, QB Aaron Rodgers scrambled 6 yards for the TD, putting the Packers on the board with 9:36 left in the quarter.
Eddie Lacy carried the ball 14 times for 61 yards, but failed to find the endzone.

The Packers won 27-23. Rodgers, however, threw a pinpoint touchdown. One of Rodgers’ TD throws went to wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who was playing for the first time since tearing his ACL previous year. Packers LB Joe Thomas was there to snag the interception, giving the Green Bay offense the ball at the Jacksonville 29.
For Jacksonville, the hype is building that the Jaguars will be a team to be reckoned with in 2016. He is coming off a preseason finale against Kansas City in which he was penalized twice for holding and once for a false start, and appeared to be late in picking up a blitz that resulted in a sack.
