Jaguar Land Rover creates higher education academy

This month, virtually 500,000 college students are getting ready to attend United Kingdom universities and schools. Of those, over half are following undergraduate or postgraduate level studies.

The issue isn’t just at tertiary degree. In its 2015 annual review, EngineeringUK concludes that, at all stages of education, the United Kingdom has neither the current capacity nor the required rate of growth needed to meet the forecast demand for skilled engineers by 2022. The time has come for Britain to close its academic deficit in engineering skills and training.

Jaguar Land Rover has launched its Academy, the first of its kind in the United Kingdom automotive sector.
