Jake Gyllenhaal Talks Ex Taylor Swift With Howard Stern
So why didn’t Gyllenhaal marry T-Swift or long-time lady loves Kirsten Dunst or Reese Witherspoon for that matter?
“Southpaw” star Jake Gyllenhaal is still addressing questions about his past relationship with Taylor Swift. Gyllenhaal didn’t think GMA meant any harm in the juxtaposition. He also admitted he has been in love “three times”, before backtracking to “twice”.
“First of all, I did not hear that”, Jake replied. “When I’m doing an interview when you are up at 5 a.m. and you can’t make sense of words, you’re not thinking about the background music that’s playing behind music”. Howard then went on to say that Jake should have married Taylor because they would have been the ultimate power couple.
It doesn’t sound like there’s bad blood on Jake Gyllenhaal’s end when it comes to Taylor Swift, 25, . Even though he pretended like he didn’t know there was a song about him, he did say: “She’s a lovely girl”.
He continued: “I would have said, ‘Jake, this is The One.’ Because to me, nothing is sexier than a woman who can play songs and write”. “That is not one of them”, he said.
When co-host Robin Quivers said Swift had written a song about him (he is thought to be the inspiration for the song “I Knew You Were Trouble”), the actor only responded, “Do I?”
Raymond Hall/GC Images Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are spotted in New York City in May. “But at the same time, if you find the right person…”
Explaining the lyrics to We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Swift told Spanish TV show El Hormiguero: “I think you have to have somebody that’s dependable, that isn’t going to change their mind every five seconds”. I believe in monogamy.
“I’ll tell you why, Stern added”.
Reportedly the tune “All Too Well” from Swift’s album “Red” is about the actor.
