James Corden and Cindy Crawford FTW with iconic Pepsi ad re-creation
The final result will debut on Corden’s show Sunday night after the Big Game, almost a quarter of a century after the original premiered.
Most of the adverts that will air during the Super Bowl have already been shared online, but there is one special one we won’t get to see until Sunday.
James Corden and Cindy Crawford were the unexpected stars of one of the Super Bowl “adverts”, as they teamed up to star in a parody of the supermodel’s iconic 1992 Pepsi commercial.
There’s nothing more attractive to Super Bowl ad creators than riffing on, referencing, or straight-up recreating iconic ads of yesteryear. Except this time, she is having some trouble getting the soda to come out of the machine. Cindy Crawford looks as spectacular as ever, and Corden of course always looks fabulous, so we don’t begrudge the boys their open-mouthed awe at all.
Cindy, 49, captioned the pic: “Who wore it best?” The host and the model mocked Crawford’s Pepsi commercial from 1992 in which she famously wore cut-offs and a white tank top.
