James Garner Passed Away at the Age of 86

James Garner, the famous and loving actor, passed away on Saturday, July 19. This news was confirmed by his rep to a reputed source, E! News.

Garner was loved by the older as well as younger generation alike. He not only earned fame and name among his fans and followers, but he also reached the hearts of many actors and actress of his time as well as of younger generation. He earned respect from stars as well as his fans and followers, his friends and loved ones.

James Garner died at the age of 86 and he took his last sleep at her home in Los Angeles.

Garner made his prominent mark in the film industry from his very popular TV Show called Maverick, where he played the role of Bret Maverick. This show earned high popularity in the 50s and helped the start to reach many fans. Till 1960 Garner appeared in the show. The best part and memorable part of the show is that it helped Garner to earn his first Golden Globe award and a nomination for Emmy.

Among other notable works of Garner include The Rockford Files, The Thrill of It All, and The Great Escape.

In the highly popular The Notebook, Garner played Ryan Gosling’s older version.

For his life time achievement in screen, James Garner bagged the honorary award of ‘Actor’s Life Achievement Award’ too. He received that screen award in 2005.
