Jamie Alexander Talks Thor: Ragnarok Ties In Captain America: Civil War
“Captain America: Civil War” is slated for a May 6, 2016 release, while “Thor: Ragnarok” is expected to hit movie theaters on November 3, 2017. The actress, who played Lady Sif in previous “Thor” movies, mentioned that clues were also injected in “Agents of SHIELD” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron“. “Because they know I’ll be like, “So here’s what gonna happen.’ But I do know I will be in ‘Thor 3″. Civil War] will have some stuff”, she said. Nonetheless, Alexander said that she will not be able to divulge it further, as she will get “shot”. There’s just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. Apparently Marvel wants a change of pace in the franchise, and is now treating the Thor films as if they are in critical condition, claiming they lack the right balance with humor.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Lady Sif was initially made known to fans in Kenneth Branagh’s “Thor” as the titular hero’s oldest companion and lover.
Actress Jaimie Alexander teased that hints about the forthcoming movie “Thor: Ragnarok” is peppered all throughout the upcoming film “Captain America: Civil War“. Alexander wouldn’t say. She says she will have a large role in Thor: Ragnarok, but that Marvel keeps her partially in the dark about the future.
It was previously reported that three Marvel characters could appear in “Thor: Ragnarok” such as Lorelei, Beta Ray Bill and even the Mad Titan himself, Thanos which will likely set up the events for “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1″. The 31-year-old actress has accepted the responsibility on multiple occasions of tying together the universe’s big-screen action with its small-screen counterpart, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”.
However, there’s one thing that she isn’t privy to: the plot of “Ragnarok“. “Which I think makes her more relatable to everybody”. However, if you’re wondering why Chris Hemsworth and the rest of Asgard is always missing, don’t worry, there will be a pivotal Asgardian role in “Captain America: Civil War“.
