Jamie Lee Curtis makes surprise EVO appearance dressed as Vega from Street

Even better, she cosplayed it up dressed as the masked character Vega from the seminal video game series Street Fighter.

The efficacy of the brilliant disguise is hampered somewhat by the unmistakable presence of her famous husband Christopher Guest, pulling off a passable version of Tekken’s Doctor Geppetto Bosconovitch, though he could use less hair. To keep her identity a secret she disguised herself as Vega, who is known for his expressionless mask and sharp metal claws.

The biggest fighting game tournament of the year has brought with it a promise from Capcom that all DLC characters can be earned in-game.

A celebration of the fighting game genre, this year’s EVO Championship Series is currently taking place in Las Vegas. Either way, her costume was fantastic and, if anyone managed to recognise her at the event, kudos to them.

We can’t tell if she, and her family, just really love games or if she was trying to enjoy a day without being recognised.
