Jamie Murray into doubles final at Aussie Open

Konta had never even made the main draw in Melbourne before this event but now she stands just two victories away from winning the title after beating Chinese qualifier Shuai Zhang 6-4 6-1. The 24-year-old who is now ranked 47th in the World defeated her opponent 6-4 6-1.
Murray beat Spanish eighth seed David Ferrer 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 6-3 to progress to a 18th grand slam semi-final, where he will meet Canadian Milos Raonic, and stay on course for a fifth Melbourne final.
It may have been Australia Day this week, but the mother country is threatening to take over the Grand Slam down under as Johanna Konta, Andy Murray and Jamie Murray all reached semi-finals in Melbourne.
Murray was taking on No. 8 seed David Ferrer, and was pushed to four sets, though the three sets he did win were dominant, 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-3.
