Leicester hit-man Jamie Vardy is desperate to maintain his goalscoring form to put himself in with the best chance of making England’s Euro 2016 squad.

Ranieri is now enjoying his second spell in the Premier League, and admits that both he and Manchester United have changed since his days as Chelsea manager.

Vardy, who now holds a record as the only player to have scored 11 goals in 11 consecutive matches said perseverance and dedication are behind his achievements.

Now, his unbelievable journey from non-league football to the Premier League is set to inspire a Hollywood movie with either Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and Zac Efron to play the England worldwide. He looks like our defensive leader – we really saw that when he marshalled the players on corners and told them all exactly where to stand – and he’s a major reason why our defence has been so strong.
