Janet Jackson & Missy Elliott “BURNITUP!”

‘Unbreakable’ is out next week, and Jackson has already shared the title track – but her latest offering is a collaboration with none other than rapper Missy Elliott.

Jackson revealed the track Thursday on BBC Radio 1 with MistaJam playing the song twice, back to back, immediately after.

“Working with Janet is unbelievable”, Elliott, 44, said in a statement, according to E!

And today (Sept. 25), Jackson released the song on social media with a message to her fans. “I’m humbled whenever she asks because she inspires and continues to inspire me, always!” Elliott previously worked with Jackson on 2001’s “Son of A Gun”, along with Carly Simon. “We had a great time and we hope you guys enjoy it”, Janet said.

The club-ready jam was first debuted on the opening night of Jackson’s massive Unbreakable World Tour in August, further building anticipation for her first album in seven years.

The new single will be on her highly anticipated upcoming album Unbreakable.
