Jar Jar Binks Will Not Return In Force Awakens
The movie is set to be released on December 18.
Star Wars director JJ Abrams has confirmed that the new film, Episode VII The Force Awakens, will not have any surprise scene at the end of the credits.
Nyong’o will play Maz Kanata, a female pirate in a motion-captured role and Abrams struggled with his decision on the Oscar winner’s appearance for the film. But even more importantly, does this mean that Finn dies?
A planned screening of footage for media ahead of the film’s launch in the USA was cancelled at the 11th hour.
Every aspect of Star Wars’ return is scrutinized; from the merchandise, to the Star Wars themed overlays at Disney parks. We’ve got a few to round up right here. “[What we wanted was] to give people that sense of possibility and magic we all felt when we first saw the original Star Wars”. As we all know, Abrams has had some fun with the fans in the past by keeping secrets, so I would still stay to the end of the credits (just in case).

When questioned by Entertainment Weekly, Abrams denied rumours of a post-credit scene in the highly anticipated film and simply stated, ‘No, there’s not.
The episode also featured several sketches, including one in which R2-D2 projected a hologram of Fisher, who said she’s sworn off the bun wig from “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope”.
When asked what was his favourite scene from the upcoming film was, Ford who does not have a Twitter account of his own, had this to say: “The sword fight with Rey and Kilo Ren”.
“It was in my contract”, Ford added, apparently joking.
