Jason “Mayhem” Miller Arrested For Assaulting An Officer With A Deadly Weapon
Miller is accused of throwing a ceramic tile at officials and threatening them with a large fire extinguisher and metal pole during the eight-minute dispute that ended in Miller being tasered.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at Miller’s home on the 26200 block of Avenida Calidad in Mission Viejo around 1:30 a.m., Friday morning, after a disturbance call.
In October of past year, Miller pleaded not guilty today to a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest in an incident that occurred when deputies showed up at his home as part of a followup investigation of a domestic violence and stalking case.
Miller was taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, Hallock said.
Deputies arrived to a female screaming inside the house, according to Lt. Jeff Hallock, the sheriff’s spokesman, who added the lawmen then entered the side yard where “they were immediately confronted by Miller who was aggressive and yelling”.
Few details have been released about his arrest, but Hallock said Miller was involved in a dispute with a woman at his home.
TMZ Sports states he was booked and is now being held on $50,000 bail.
This wasn’t the first brush with the law for Miller. However, “both females were interviewed and uncooperative with the investigation”, the public information officer relates.
In 2012, Mayhem announced his retirement from MMA, and he’s been arrested three times since.
In August 2011, Miller was cuffed in North Carolina for allegedly assaulting his sister at a party. From being found and arrested naked in a church to a live feed of a real-life-barricaded-in-the-house standoff with S.W.A.T. and more, and now this, Miller has had a hard time finding his way after fighting. Miller’s latest arrest is the latest in a list of transgressions. SWAT was called to the scene and was finally able to get Miller in cuffs.
