Jason Momoa Says Aquaman Will Honor Original Costume
“Batman V Superman” features Henry Cavill as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman, Gal Gadot as Princess Diana a.k.a. Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred J. Pennyworth, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
Jason Momoa, in an interview, hinted that there might be some bit of orange and green that they will be using for the character. So far we have seen you in armor – not that that is bad.
The “Aquaman” actor added that this time around its not just Aquaman’s looks that are deadly but he is meaner and more upset this time around.
Momoa, however, is quick to note that being in orange and green will not make Aquaman cute.
“So in Batman V Superman, even though it’s a superhero movie, people who don’t necessarily see films in that genre, like this crowd, will probably enjoy it. It discusses some very sophisticated and important themes”, he said. “That’s his world that has been polluted”, the 36-year-old actor said.
Meanwhile, full trailer of Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is set to hit the big screen along with the release of J.J. Abram’s upcoming sci-fi film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on December, 18. After which, he is expected to join the rest of the superheroes in 2017’s “The Justice League Part One” and then to his own James Wan-helmed solo movie, “Aquaman”, which is to be released on July 27, 2018.
