Jason Momoa Teases “Some Bit of Orange & Green” in Aquaman Costume
Given the DC cinematic universe tone and the first picture of Jason Momoa as Aquaman, it was already clear that the bright and brightly colored Aquaman of the comics wouldn’t be on the big screen.
Doing the same to the normally not quite as dark Aquaman fits that same controversial, overly fixated on grit and grey tone as well, even with Momoa teasing a deeper reasoning for it than copying Christopher Nolan – and one more political. Momoa spoke with The Robot’s Voice for a new interview and hinted at what we might see in the King of Atlantis’ style. And to make sure you know you won’t be getting some soft, weak, useless Aquaman once he suits up, Momoa recently commented on what you can expect from his performance. The actor said that there might be some tinges of orange and green to pay homage in the earlier costumes of the aquatic superhero.
The makers might be going in for the traditional look when they will dwell more into the standalone “Aquaman” movie scheduled to release in 2018. Thats his world that has been polluted.
People have not stopped talking about how changed (read menacing and awesome) Jason Momoa looks as Aquaman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
