Jay McGuiness’ huge mistake
The Strictly professional – who was kicked out of the dance competition with runner Iwan Thomas – has confessed The Wanted singer is one of her favourite celebrities competing on the BBC show. Online at the RSPCA Animal Hero Awards, Ola said: “Everyone is so good. There are so many good dancers out there that you really don’t know [who will win]”, she went on.
“And I was looking at her and I could see her eyes wide like, “This isn’t going amazingly, Jay”.
The Heart Vacancy star went on to say: “I know I’m not meant to look at Aliona the whole time, and she didn’t tell me off, but she told me, “Keep looking to the left”.
Anybody who watches Strictly Come Dancing on a regular basis knows that Bruno Tonioli can get a little over-excited at times.
Ola – married to former Strictly dancer James Jordan – recently defended her racy calendar and dismissed claims that the BBC weren’t happy with it. “So as things were going wrong so badly, he was actually trying to get back into the routine and I felt him pushing through and it actually made me so proud of him because of that”.
In this evening’s episode he performed the paso doble to Bon Jovi, “It’s My Life” with partner Aliona Vilani.
Strictly Come Dancing return this weekend on BBC One.
Georgia and Giovanni showed off their Salsa to Sylvester’s You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real), Helen and Aljaz quickstepped the Quickstep to Diana Ross and the Supremes’ You Can’t Hurry Love and popstar Jamelia and Tristan took on the Foxtrot to Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me.
