JD Martinez embraces the hate from Yankee fans following devastating tiebreaking homer

BALTIMORE – Mark Trumbo delivered a tiebreaking two-run single in the eighth inning, Chris Davis homered and Baltimore ended a seven-game losing streak.

Despite the loss the Yankees certainly proved a point over the last three weeks, in which they have won each of their six series and went 18-3.

On Thursday night in the Bronx, it was the New York Yankees fans turn to mock the Sox closer. Thursday, they beat the Royals for their second straight win. It was the Yankees’ 10th comeback win of the season.

Red Sox: Sale (3-1, 2.02 ERA) starts Friday at Toronto, which sends RHP Aaron Sanchez (2-3, 4.14) to the mound.

Orioles outfielders Trey Mancini and Adam Jones each went 3 for 5 with a double and a home run in an 11-6 win over the Royals.
