Jeb Bush offers advice on taking selfies
Cornered later by a reporter, and asked if he was serious and if he thought Trump would agree to it, Bush paused, then shrugged, then said, “I don’t know”.
The media and the pundits expected the Republican presidential race to be a cakewalk for Jeb Bush; after all he enjoyed the support of the Republican establishment, he has an impressive pedigree, and his campaign war chest is intimidating.
Bush and Trump have traded barbs throughout the campaign. Mr. Bush said. “Yes, they’re scared, and the job of a president – or a candidate, for that matter – isn’t to scare them more. I’m not leaving until I get it.’ So we spend a lot of quality time doing that”, he quipped with his signature sarcasm.
Earlier in the day Bush gave speeches just outside Miami and in West Palm Beach.
“The selfie is now the Eleventh Amendment of the Bill of Rights”, he said. “I would argue that Donald Trump is, in fact, a creature of Barack Obama”, “but for Barack Obama, Donald Trump’s effect would not be almost as strong as it is”, he said.
“Mr. President, if you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries”.
Jeb Bush (R) used the upcoming New Year’s festivities to roast real-estate mogul Donald Trump. Jeb attended a lunch at the Forum Club in Palm Beach on Monday. “Donald, I’ll take you on one-on-one in a debate, any time, any place”, boasted Bush after being asked what he’d like to say to the “chaos candidate” if he were to walk into the room at that moment.
