Jeb Bush’s Son Appears To Back Trump In Video

It’s curious, but a certain George Bush is reportedly breaking with the rest of his family and urging fellow Republicans to vote for Donald Trump for president in November. His father, uncle and grandfather – former presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush – have also refused to back Trump. In a May 6 statement on Facebook, the former Republican presidential hopeful congratulated the real estate mogul on securing the nomination but said he could not support Trump’s candidacy. Ted Cruz, a friend of George P. Bush, but George P. did not do so. Bush will need to be on the right side of those voters if he means to climb up on the modern cursus honorum.

The same can not be said for the George P. Bush.

At some point, when a vacancy exists, Bush will run for higher office, Texas attorney general at least, if not United States Senator or Governor of Texas.

“I was rough with Jeb Bush”, Trump said in an August ABC interview. The feat was beyond his father’s grasp.

“I know a lot of us in this room had dogs in the fight in the primary”, George P. Bush, who serves as the Texas GOP’s victory chairman, told the audience.

Over the course of the campaign, Donald Trump jabbed at “low energy” Jeb, and The Donald even accused George W. of lying about weapons of mass destruction.

“From Team Bush, it’s a bitter pill to swallow”, George P. Bush said at a meeting of Texas GOP activists over the weekend, the Texas Tribune reported. “And I think if I was Jeb Bush, I wouldn’t vote for me either”.

A longtime Jeb Bush adviser, Sally Bradshaw, last week said she had become an independent, adding if the presidential race in Florida is close, she’ll vote for Hillary Clinton.

Jeb Bush had an ugly rivalry with Trump througout this election season with both bringing charges against each other.
