Jeb Bush says he takes Donald Trump’s immigration remarks personally
Jeb Bush said he was personally offended by what the billionaire businessman said and called the remarks far outside the mainstream of Republican thought.
Condemning the fatal shooting, Trump said, “This senseless and totally preventable act of violence committed by an illegal immigrant is yet another example of why we must secure our border immediately”.

Asked about Donald Trump’s controversial remarks about Mexicans, Huckabee softened his stance, saying he would “never besmirch all the people who come here”.

If the self-made millionaire, Trump, can learn a gentler way to get his point across, and not just open his mouth and let his opinions come pouring out, as well as consider how other people will feel about what he says, then he may have a shot at a Republican endorsement.
During his announcement speech almost three weeks ago, Trump blamed Mexico for allowing immigrants to illegally cross into the United States. “They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and their rapists”. They are bringing crime.

The Republican Party has invested heavily in Hispanic outreach in recent years due to the increasing influence of the minority vote.
Trump said Bush was “out of touch with the American people”. Instead, he focused on border security. “Some of the people coming here are very violent people, not all“. “But I will tell you, I’m a little surprised he’s in the position he’s in”.
“All I’m doing is telling the truth”, said Trump.
However, he doesn’t think Trump really believes what he said.
Trump is standing by his comments, despite losing major business deals, including Macy’s phasing out his clothing line and NBC and Univision refusing to run the Miss US pageant.
However, now at least three presidential candidates, including two Republican candidates, have decried Donald Trump’s assertions about immigrants, making it clear that his views are not only intolerant, but intolerable. And his support, along with Bush’s, appears to have exacted a toll on other contenders: Sen. “And to paint with that broad a brush that Donald Trump did is – I mean he’s going to have to defend those remarks”.
