Jeb Bush, selfie king of Florida?
Bush has been on the offensive against Trump, saying in a recent interview that Trump used to be a Democrat and that he wasn’t a “serious candidate” during an appearance on Fox News.
At another point during the event, Bush challenged Donald Trump to a one-on-one debate.
“Donald, I’ll take you on one-on-one in the debate”, Bush said.
As of Monday morning, Trump was leading the GOP field with the support of 37.5 percent of likely primary voters, according to the survey aggregator HuffPost Pollster.
Jeb Bush made a campaign stop in Hialeah, Monday, and is scheduled to make stops in Palm Beach and Ocala, as part of his presidential campaign. “Someone who believes in the greatness of this country”, said the former Florida Gov.
“We don’t believe winning in Iowa is a necessary ingredient to winning the nomination, but we’re working for a strong finish”, said Iowa native David Kochel, Bush’s senior strategist.
“Donald Trump gets his foreign policy advice, congresswoman, from the shows”, he said in English, turning to supporter Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.
“Vladimir should be more afraid of us”, said Bush, calling the prime minister a bully who enslaves his own people. “We need to rebuild military abilities”, Bush said. “Candidates seem to go into the witness protection program on this issue”.
Unfortunately for Jeb, all three arguments are shaky at best. He took on the newspaper editorial boards.
But, he said, Bush’s time is over. “He was very good, very animated, forceful in his delivery”.
The former Florida Governor and Republican Presidential hopeful addressed a crowd of about 900 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. “Whether they’re economic or national security, he is going to be that slow and steady hand, so I know people are looking at other candidates right now, but they’ll come home to Jeb”. “He’s working harder than any of them are”.
