Jeb Interrupts Trump: ‘Am I Talking or Are You Talking’
Sparks were flying right off the bat at Tuesday night’s Republican debate, with the first question not surprisingly revolving around Donald Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from the country.
“This is troubling because we’re at war”, Bush said. Bush fired back on stage at the Venetian casino describing Trump as an unserious “chaos candidate”.
Bush went after Trump at the debate refusing to recant earlier remarks, when he called the businessman “unhinged”.
When Jeb repeated a previous line that Trump will never be able to insult his way to the White House, Trump shot back, “I’m at 42 [percent], you’re at 3, so I’m doing far better”. “So Donald, you know, is great at – at the one-liners, but he’s a chaos candidate”.
“Oh, I know. You’re a tough guy Jeb!”. “He’d be a chaos president”. Both Marco Rubio & Ted Cruz have been additionally asked about Trump’s policies, although both declined to attack Trump outright.Rubio stated, “We must deal with this threat of basic Islamists, especially from ISIS”, while Cruz asserted in that he understood why Trump suggested what he did.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich, in his opening statement, appeared to lament the political environment that Trump is thriving in. Frankly, that will make people think because they may not care much about their lives.
Likewise, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina said “I offer myself as a leader to the people of this country because I think they’re looking for solutions, not lawyers arguing over laws or entertainers throwing out sound bites that draw media attention”. “I perceive why Donald made in that proposal”.
Trump defended his proposal, saying, “We are not talking about isolation; we’re talking about security”. We need strength. We don’t have it. When Jeb comes out and he talks about the border and I saw it and I was witness to it and so was everyone else and I was standing there, they come across as an act of love.
